Florence Diptychs
Jan-Mar 2025
My diptychs explore Florence through layered photography, combining my own images with found photos to highlight contrasts in time, movement, and perspective. They examine the city’s shifting atmospheres, from rain and sunlight to the tension between fast-paced modern life and historical spaces. Some pieces reinterpret iconic landmarks or Renaissance artwork, questioning tourism’s impact, reimagining historical symbols, and revealing how past and present coexist in the city’s everyday rhythms.
