Florence, Italy
Feb-Mar 2025
During my time in Florence, I also explored analog photography, learning to develop film in a darkroom and experiencing the city through a different, more deliberate lens. The process of shooting and developing each frame taught me patience, attention to detail, and an appreciation for texture, light, and composition. Seeing the streets of Florence in this way allowed me to slow down and notice nuances in everyday life—the gestures of people, the play of sunlight on historic buildings, and the subtle rhythms of the city that often go unnoticed. This hands-on approach to capturing moments deepened my observational skills and reinforced my interest in storytelling through visual media.
