When brainstorming on a vessel idea I wanted something that had both a drawer as well as dividers that were seperate. When I designed the lid, the idea came across me to have the lid almost like a lock for the drawer, meaning in order to pull out the drawer, you would need to open the lid. Additionally, I really wanted to add an ornamental touch by including cherry blossoms and thus used it for the handle as well as the top. Additionally I had come across this design of a koi fish tattoo that followed the curve of the lid and I integrated cherry blossoms in the back.
