This piece started as I collected random items around the lab. After having more than enough material, I laid it all out in front of me and began playing with the pieces. I then started sketching whatever came to mind. As the pieces started coming together I transferred my 2D sketch into a 3D sculpture. The theme of the piece came along as I saw the wires that I was playfully twisting and the giant red bulb. This piece represents the protection on nature’s beauty and sometimes the integration of industrial creation is needed to protect such a beauty.
